John Gruber on rumors Apple will take Macs off Intel:

Maybe Apple will never pull it off and thus won’t ever make such a switch, but I’d be shocked if there isn’t a team inside Apple working on it already.

If you’ve been following technology long enough it’s pretty interesting how the narrative has changed. It was only 8 years ago that Gartner was advising Apple to get out of the hardware business.

Yeah, OK, Gartner, but still…
