Hard to argue with T-Mobile CEO John Legere.
“Carriers are really nice to you… once every 23 months,” teased Legere, in a no-nonsense presentation even more aggressive than his speech at CES earlier this year. “This is the biggest crock of shit in my life. Do you have any idea how much you’re paying?”
Also hard to consider getting on their network, unfortunately, which is why they have to make gambits like selling an iPhone 5 for $99 (on an installment plan) without a contract.
As much as I admire his no-nonsense presentation, the fact that he delivered part of it wearing a Yankees cap is pretty much a deal-breaker, regardless of how cheap the phone is.
