I do not regret the error. There was no error. I did that deliberately. I make a variation on this joke every single time this happens. That’s probably one of the reasons you read this site in the first place. You are to blame just as much as I, for you are an enabler.

On the plus side, the bug’s only been there for eight years. Let us all now praise the infallibility of the “many eyes” philosophy for catching it before it was something truly dangerous like 10 years.
