I saw this gushing piece by CNet’s Jason Hiner about Webtop last week and really didn’t know what to make of it. Then I found a demo video which shows this Apple-killing technology in action and, well, I still didn’t know what to make of it.

Basically, you dock your phone and it becomes your desktop computer. Which surely couldn’t lead to any kind of compromised user experience. If that doesn’t sound awesome to you, hold on. Wait for the kicker in this deal.

It comes with full Flash.

When something mobile comes with full Flash, well, then my friends you know it’s got to be good.

According to Hiner, only one thing stands in the way of Webtop:

There was a hitch: The first version of Webtop was awful.

Well, I’m sure  Google will get their shiny new toaster-fridge technology working in no time.
